All cameras most likely have SMTP alarm integration (they can send an email on alert). QNAP QVR for example cannot take an email as an alert but it has a dedicated endpoints for receiving alerts. This is a Simple SMTP serwer that forwards received e-maile to typowe dedicated endpoints (indicating something happened).
